You’re working overtime but you’re not getting overtime pay.

You have been putting in very long hours.  It’s been tough.  You’re tired all the time, and you are missing time with your family.  You even missed your son’s ball game on Saturday.

It would be different if you were making overtime pay—maybe putting aside some money for a nice family vacation.  But, your employer says you are a manager and not entitled to overtime pay.  Funny thing is that you don’t really supervise anybody and no one treats you like a manager.
